Goal: Increase organic and paid search traffic.

Method: Track keyword positions and add new keyword phrases from research to website landing pages. Create unique and valuable content to keep visitors and reduce bounce rate. Optimize landing pages, page titles, and descriptions. Fix any technical SEO errors.

Campaign Duration: From January 2018 to September 2018 for a total of 9 Months (540 Days)

Results: Increase in Organic Search Traffic from 5.3K to 40.7K; Increase in Paid Search Traffic from 259 to 1.2K; Increase in Total Backlinks from 675 to 5.2K; and an Increase in Total Ads from 0 to 95.

Monitoring my search engine optimization (SEO) campaign every 3 months to make adjustments over the course of a total 9 months it's easy to see my efforts were successful. By using Google Keyword Planner, tracking keyword positions, and fixing technical SEO errors like indexing issues or broken 404s I was able to increase organic search traffic dramatically including gross revenue sales.

Using SEMrush I was able to track and increase most of the keyword positions that we ranked for between 1 and 10. This had a huge impact not only with organic search results, but also on website traffic allowing Floor City to make an additional 1.2M in gross sales for the year of 2018. This was achieved by implementing on-page SEO for descriptions, page titles, and meta tags.

Using a variety of resources like Google Web Master Tools and Screaming Frog, I was able to reduce indexing and site errors that occured from migrating from one ecommerce platform to another. From pages that no longer exist to products that had been deleted and just needed to be redirected, I was able to reduce over 40K indexing issue or broken 404s to less than 10K within a 9 month period.
