I have always wondered what it would be like to see Samurai's playing chess, therefore, I decided to swap out the regular pieces with more unique ones. Building upon this concept, I decided to also make them fight as if they weren't ordinary chess pieces at all just for fun.

Although this was my first 3D animation, I really did enjoy the process and learned how to model various objects in Maya too. Special thanks to my professor Brenda Grell for taking the time to teach so many newbies how to animate.
