The Bear Spot is a family owned and operated chainsaw carving business out of Walsenburg, CO. Initially designed to simply be a landing page with contact information, it has quickly grown to include a blog and currently is being setup for eCommerce. The goal is to offer a variety of bear related products that can be sold online and shipped nationwide.

Sweet Teez was an exclusive T-shirt company centered on creating hilarious and sentimental designs. Although this site only existed for a short time on the web, it was an eCommerce site built with WooCommerce on WordPress. Product landing pages allowed the user to not only see the front of the image, but also displayed the graphic on the back of the shirt upon hovering. This not only increased sales and conversions, but also drastically reduced the bounce rate.

Pure Mutts Animal Rescue was a nonprofit organization who I built a site for in order to foster the adoption of unwanted pets. Even though the site only existed for a short time on the web, it did help encourage and spread the word of fostering adoption. The home screen was designed to catch the users attention while showcasing recent animals for adoption. Each panel on the home screen would slide out to display a variety of information including a unique personal story and contact information for adoption.

Working from my knowlege of coding, I created a touch sensitive immersive website designed specifically for tablets. Upon the loading of the screen, two ships would streak across the night sky pointing in the direction to swipe. This would then take you to a trove of information regarding space. This was definitely one of my first steps as a coding padawan when it came to touch sensitivity, but I hope you will enjoy the exploration into space as I did.
